Paw Prints Policies
For any returned checks there will be a minimum fee of $30.
Mobile Appointments: For any appointments that do not give a 24 hour notice to cancel or do not call at all to cancel, or are not home when appointment is scheduled the following actions will be taken:
- First Missed Appointment: Fee = $10 Fee
- Second Missed Appointment: Fee = 50% of Grooming Cost
- Third Missed Appointment: Fee = 75% of Grooming Cost
- Fourth Missed Appointment: 100% of Grooming Cost + you will have to Prepay for all of your Future appointments.
Please understand the reason we require a 24 hour notice for a cancellation is because if you need to cancel your appointment we need enough time to try to get that appointment filled. We only groom 4-5 pets a day in our Mobile Spa and when you cancel without proper notice, that leaves a 2 hour gap in our schedule and loss of income for the day. For any appointments that need to be cancelled by Paw Prints there will be a discount given at their next appointment, and will be rescheduled at the customers earliest possible convenience. This excludes weather conditions and breakdowns.
It is very important that you take your pet out for a "potty break" before we groom your pet. This will help relax him/her and helps prevent any accidents from happening and extra clean up. There will be an extra clean up charge with a $3 minimum fee. **Tip: do not feed or give water to your pet until after their grooming.**
Some dogs with difficult personalities are now required to take a sedative to help relax them during the grooming process. We will let you know if your pet will need to take a sedative. You can get a pill, which will sedate your pet, from your local vet. There is a $10/hour charge for working with pets with difficult personalities.
For pets we have to muzzle during the grooming process there is an automatic fee of $5.
For pets that are matted, we charge $.50/minute for dematting. If your pet is extremely matted over the majority of its body, we require them to be shaved down. We will NOT demat your pet if it is in that condition. It is to painful and stressful for the pet.
Payment is expected when services are rendered.
There is a minimum fee of $5 for postdating checks.
