Paw Prints History

Paw Prints was first established in 2004 with the Mobile Grooming Spa by Jolene Siebeneck.  When Paw Prints Mobile Spa first opened we serviced all of the Putnam County area along with the Defiance and surrounding area.  At that time Jolene was the only Pet Stylist.

In the summer of 2006, Paw Prints expanded our services by opening up a grooming salon and boarding kennel in Leipsic, also known as the Pet Inn & Day Spa.  We then hired our first Pet Stylist and Kennel Technician employees.

In the fall of 2008, Paw Prints expanded our Mobile Service to the Lima and surrounding areas.  In March of 2009, Paw Prints partnered up with the Bluffton Vet Hospital in Bluffton and provides all grooming services at their facility.

In January of 2010, Paw Prints agains expand with another Mobile Grooming Unit to service the Findlay and surrounding areas.

In September 2010, Paw Prints partnered up with All Creatures Animal Clinic (formerly Elmview Vet Clinic) and we are providing all grooming services at their facility.

As of January 2011, Paw Prints employs seven full time employees and three part time employees and we are always looking for applicants!  To apply Click Here.

The "PAW PRINTS" Name
by: Jolene Siebeneck

I was 8 years old when my parents came home with this lovable, cute, playful puppy.  He was this beautiful rough collie we named Tyler Anthony, who was going to be our new family dog.  This is when my love and fascination for animals began.

I spent  a lot of time with Tyler while growing up.  He was like a best friend to me and he would follow me all around our farm.  Whenever I was having a bad day, he would always be there for me.  Playing with Tyler always cheered me up.  I would play soccer with him and when my friends would come over, we would always play hide and go seek with him.  (We would throw his ball one way and run the other way and hide).  But sure enough, he would find us everytime!  My parents would get Tyler shaved down every summer!  He looked so funny!  Here's a picture of him...

Tyler and I grew up together!  Even as I got older and much busier, I would always make time for a game of fetch.  And not only was he a great dog, he was a great watch dog!  But when I was 16, Tyler was chasing something across the road and was hit by a car.  Our vet didn't think he would be able to walk again so we had to put him down.  That day was one of the saddest days in my life!  Not only did I lose my dog, I lost my best friend.  Since then, Tyler has left his memories and his Paw Prints on my heart!  So I decided to name my business Paw Prints because anyone who owns a dog or a cat, their pet always leaves Paw Prints on their hearts too!

Today, I have three beautiful shih tzu's and a standard poodle.  Our Shih Tzu's names are Kenzy, Riley and Izzy.  Our Standard Poodle's name is Chopper.  I love them all very much, they are my babies!  Here are some pictures of them (Chopper's pic coming soon):

Sadly, we lost one of our babies this past fall of 2010.   She was definitely the "princess" of the family and she will be missed greatly!
