The "PAW PRINTS" Name
by: Jolene Siebeneck
I was 8 years old when my parents came home with this lovable, cute, playful puppy. He was this beautiful rough collie we named Tyler Anthony, who was going to be our new family dog. This is when my love and fascination for animals began.
I spent a lot of time with Tyler while growing up. He was like a best friend to me and he was always there for me every day. Playing with Tyler was one of my favorite things to do, from playing soccer with him, to pretending he was a show dog in a show ring, to playing fetch, to playing hide and seek (but sure enough, he would find me every time)! Tyler was a great companion!
I would even try to groom him myself by giving him a bath out in the yard and brushing his long, thick coat whenever I could. Even though I was young and such an amature with grooming, he tolerated it very well.
And again, since I was young and an amature, My parents would get Tyler professionally groomed and every summer they would have him shaved down. He always looked so funny after his summer shave!
Tyler and I grew up together. Even as I got older and much busier, I would always make time for a game of fetch. And not only was he a great companion, he was a great watch dog to our family and our farm. But sadly when I was 16, Tyler was hit by a car. Our vet didn't think he would be able to walk again so we had to put him down. That day was one of the saddest days in my life! Not only did I lose my dog, I lost my best friend. Tyler has left so many great memories with me and he left his Paw Prints on my heart! So I decided to name my business Paw Prints, in the memory of one of the greatest friends I had in my life, Tyler Anthony!

Today, I have three beautiful shih tzu's and a standard poodle. Our Shih Tzu's names are Kenzy, Riley and Izzy. Our Standard Poodle's name is Chopper. I love them all very much, they definitely are my spoiled babies!

Sadly, we lost one of our babies in the fall of 2010. She was definitely the "princess" of the family and she will be missed greatly! She will forever leave her Paw Prints on my heart too!
