Jolene Siebeneck: Owner/Professional Groomer

I am a graduate from Leipsic High School.  I reside in Leipsic with my husband Ryan and our little "furbabies."  I have always loved animals since I was young, especially dogs!  We actually have four little ones, Kenzy, Jersey, Riley, and Izzy.  They are all shih tzus.  Besides for grooming, I also breed shih tzus.  You can check out my other website at www.pawprintspuppies.com.  I love many breeds, but I have really fell in love with the shih tzu breed.  I love being involved with dogs in many ways.  I would love to someday get into training dogs and showing them.  As for grooming, I first received all my knowledge about Pet Grooming by taking an on-line course through Harcourt Learning Direct.  After completing that course, I wanted to further my education and receive some hands-on experience.  To receive my hands-on training, I attended the Ohio accredited and certified school, Great Lakes Grooming Academy in Toledo, Ohio.  Today, I am furthering my education by attending seminars and other functions to better serve you and your Pampered Pet!

                                   

The "PAW PRINTS" Name

I was 8 years old when my parents came home with this lovable, cute, playful puppy.  He was this beautiful rough collie we named Tyler Anthony, who was going to be our new family dog.  This is when my love and fascination for animals began. 

I spent  a lot of time with Tyler while growing up.  He was like a best friend to me and he would follow me all around our farm.  Whenever I was having a bad day, he would always be there for me.  Playing with Tyler always cheered me up.  I would play soccer with him and when my friends would come over, we would always play hide and go seek with him.  (We would throw his ball one way and run the other way and hide).  But sure enough, he would find us everytime!  My parents would get Tyler shaved down every summer!  He looked so funny!  Here's a picture of him...

Tyler and I grew up together!  Even as I got older and much busier, I would always make time for a game of fetch.  And not only was he a great dog, he was a great watch dog!  But when I was 16, Tyler was chasing something across the road and was hit by a car.  Our vet didn't think he would be able to walk again so we had to put him down.  That day was one of the saddest days in my life!  Not only did I lose my dog, I lost my best friend.  Since then, Tyler has left his memories and his Paw Prints on my heart!  So I decided to name my business Paw Prints because anyone who owns a dog or a cat, their pet always leaves Paw Prints on their hearts too!

Today, I have four beautiful shih tzu's.  We have Kenzy who was born in July of 2001.  Kenzy is a silver/black brindle and is about 15 lbs.  Our next oldest female Jersey was born in June of 2004 she is a cream/silver and is on the smaller size and weighs 7 lbs.  Our third cuddly male, Riley was born in June 2005, he is cream/blue and is 8.5 lbs.  Then our fourth little darling female, Izzy was born in May 2006.  She is a silver/black shih tzu and is about 12 lbs.  I love them all very much, they are my babies!  They are all very sweet, cute, and very smart dogs.  Here are some pictures of them:
